You have waited your whole life for this day, your wedding. Make it perfect. Make it unforgettable..
The preparations, the vows,
The flowers, the first dance,
The secret smiles and quite moments,
The laughter, the memories!
You’re sure you’ll always remember.
It’s in the details. It’s what I always remind myself when a bride to be, steps into house of Valerie Fan, that means she trust us with in the making of the most important day of her life.
It’s these little details that tell me and everyone else about what was important to them because it’s something that they deemed precious enough to be a part of their special day. Aside from capturing the expressions on their faces as they speak their vows or as they express gratitude to their parents for raising them, or as they carry out each traditions that take them to the next level of their lives, it’s the little things that they’ve prepared to be a part of their wedding that makes the day entirely theirs.
Which is why here in Valerie Fan we listen, and we would do our best to fulfill those special moments of yours because we understand how much it means to you.
Thank you Yinfa and Yilingfor trusting us. Enjoy and congratulations once again to the happy couple!
There is much to admire about audacious couples who throw caution to the wind and opt for non-traditional nuptials that genuinely reflect their personalities, and this describes Laurel and Nick’s wedding approach to the letter.
Being part of Irwan and Ashley wedding was like being part of the wedding of a friend, a close and personal friend. Every so often, we get lucky enough to meet clients who open up their lives to us over time and let us in as friends.
After crossing paths on several occasions last year, especially during an intimate pre-wedding session and a beauty portrait session, we’ve gotten to know this great couple fairly well. They’ve gotten friendly with a lot of us over at the house of Valerie Fan, and it was a privilege for most of us to be a part of their beautiful day.
Irwan and Ashley exceptional photographer, Daren Chong, got every shot just right, there’s not a single imperfect frame, and partially coz the couples were so in love with each other. “I knew that the photos were going to be the most important detail for us,” Ashley said, “so an amazing photographer who understood our style was paramount.”
This set of pictures really is a form of narrative of the couple’s story. At the beginning of the story it took place on a sweet café setting to represent the courtship, then you have the baseball court that represents the games of love and test of endurance, and last but not least, turning lemon into lemonade, there is the beginning of a never ending love story where two become one.
If we had to sum up this intimate couple in a single phrase, it would be “pure romance”. From the soft palette of blue, pink and moody creams to the show stopping bride’s silk wedding gown, everything about this feels like a little girl’s dream all grown up.
As these utterly captivating photos by photographer Daren Chong attest, it was a dream come true and more. Bernard and Jolin’s wedding album is a source of great joy, transporting the couples back to the magic and sweetness of that day every time they open it. “I think the pictures speak volumes, and every time I look at our album, I experience the day all over again,” Jolin said.
“We are so thankful for the Valerie Fan team, who captured all this wonderful moments for us. You guys are the reason why I am able to continue to share our story.
